DAY THREE OF TABLETS OF WONDER
today was a fun day for sebastian – he basically played all day long at school. it was a "pot bless" lunch – every child was asked to bring in something and the tables were a united nations.
we had sushi, samosas, meatballs, sausages, pakoras, sandwiches, chips, crisps, sausage rolls, fruit kebabs, cheeses, apple pies, cupcakes, choc treats, etc. and i know you will be pleased to hear that i only scoffed two samosas and several thousand spring rolls. heaven!
and my charming son ate — crisps. plates and plates of crisps. how can that BE when there were so many other divine goodies? i don't know, but everytime i saw the fellow, he was ploughing a fistful of crumbling crisps into his gob. fittingly, my donation to the class party was..crisps. not even my fave flave, salt n; vinegar, but the rather mundane sour cream and onion.
(did you know that our pta sells worcester flavoured crisps?)

family drama: i just had to settle affairs between carys and sela. carys spat on sela twice. sela, all tears and stamping feet, came to inform me of this fact.
carys shut herself in her room. i called her to me. reluctantly, she dragged and stamped her feet to me.
me: carys, did you spit on your sister?
carys (quietly/inaudibly): yes
me: i am very surprised. how many times did you spit on her?
carys: once
me: oh?
(behind carys, sela is waving her arms and mouthing, twice, two times she spit on me mummy)
me: carys, how many times did you spit on your sister?
carys (again, inaudible) two times.
me: really? again, this is surprising. why, kitten?
carys: i spat on her the second time because i did not want her to tell you about the first time i spat on her.
apologies were made and reconcilation occurred. but honestly! did i mention that sebastian woke up at 5.45am and jumped into bed with magnificent and me to read this morning? (above: sela sleeps upside down due to her sister's backwards logic.)

That’s a very funny Carys you have.
Why be surprised?Triplets often are spitting images.
Love to all….Dad
lol did you notice that sela’s doll is sleeping in the same position?!
Sisters. Ah, do you remember your youth like that? (dad?)
Kids logic, you have to try not to laugh while discipling them. Love the photo, the cabbage patch doll is in the same position, even the hair is lying behind its head… Wonder if she got a head rush when she moved back onto the bed.
hahahaha
Am much better with my one pill (of course as O, I can get things like single day pills rather than multi-day pills).
This is where O confesses it was a one day dose of antibiotics that got her in to this not so fine mess.
I read the entire PSA, and found it enthralling; leave it to the uk medical system to draw me in on thrush.
What it is with you children thinking 2 times is the perfect amount to try? We’d never have settled on 2, if 2 was good, 4 was better! If we were to get in trouble, it was going to be WORTH it. 🙂
