these last few days have been really tough for jasper. his breathing has been really laboured, short gasps during sentences, and at night, when sleeping he is taking about 70 breaths per minute. this is not good, and i am getting him up twice a night for treatment.
his eyes have little purple shadows under them and he is miserable. if we didn’t have the song "i am a pizza" to distract him with, he would be completely bereft.
he perked up the other day at the mvoies, and he is well enough to fight against broccoli and other such invasive foods that land on his plate, but really, jasper is just not a well boy these days. it’s not the pollution, it is his lungs doing this to him.
i don’t think i would be so overwhelmed if it wasn’t day two of school holidays and already i am wondering why teachers need such long school holidays. forget that frugal blake was the executive director of the northwest territories teacher association for 20 years, i just need my kids teachers to go back to school and take over for a few (5) hours a day. and if they wanted to make meals and teach them manners, i wouldn’t object to that either.

i hear ya. summer vacation is an invention of the agrarian society that just really needs to go the way of the horse-pulled plow.
i hope jj gets over this bought of asthma quickly. if not, you could always get him some concealer to go with his eye shadow.
Jasper will make a fast recovery at Fintry.I think he needs some frosties and slow walks with his Grandad. Tell all les enfants the Tummy Eagle is waiting to see them soon.
