act 2 scene 2 line 185

"parting is such sweet sorrow".

today annie called sebastian.

i recognised her little voice immediately.

"hello, this is annie, who is this please?" she asked.

"annie!" i gasped, thrilled to hear her sounding so well, and guilty that we hadn’t called annie and her brothers and annie’s parents since their move.

"sebastian annie is calling, come to the phone quickly!"

sebastian slid from his seat and ran to the phone. kids get used to phone body language so quickly. he eased himself into a chair i sit in all the time for phone conversations.

"hello annie, this is sebastian. where are you calling from?" (where do you THINK?)

the next two minutes were filled with banalities as each established that they go to school, that annie will come visit sebastian, that sebastian will come and visit annie "not this holidays but very very soon".

then the important stuff. annie informed sebastian that he and adam were still her boyfriends.

after that affirmation, he puffed out his chest and there was really little left to say. why prolong the conversation? seb said, "well allright annie, but don’t forget you’re going to marry me."

silence.

"good. do yo want to speak with my mum?"

and that was that.

LET"S TRY TO CONVINCE MAG CHAR TO POST PICTURES.

Or, in the event that the above statement did not properly convey the appropriate level of guilt? What about, “PLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?”
Seb & Annie are adorable! (Even if I have to imagine it all in my head, because THERE ARE NO PICTURES.)

  5. Well, already know who your future daughter in law will be. That is advanced planning.
But remind Charles, he has to pay for the girls, so he better start saving now because I know they will not go cheap.
