we had a doctor’s appointment today.
rather, three of the four bald offspring of my tender loins had appointments and hired me to push them there and do negotiating on their behalf.
it wasn’t a good appointment.
all three need to begin physiotherapy. poor carys. it seems like the only regions of her that aren’t in physio are her teeth – and if THEY don’t hurry up and come in, i bet a physio will go in after them. carys needs work on flat muscles in face, hips, lessons on walking, sitting, abdominal muscles (ooh, me too please) and her feet.
jasper in physio. it just seems wrong.
and sela too, thankyouverymuch. she flipped, did the butterfly stroke that is her method of crawling, but apparently her calves and feet need physio too.
sela—her hydracephalus is a concern instead of just something to note as it was before. have to book her an x-ray as i chose she not be sedated for a ct scan.
something else about carys i won’t write on the blog for fear of the creeps it would attract, and a couple of other smallish things.
its not hugely bad news and i think i am just tired. it wasn’t a bad appointment, i think i am just in a bad mood. thank goodness i can grab a handful of biscuits, and promise them to sebastian in return for a simple cuddle and a "i wuff you, mummy".
even a bribed hug is better than no hug.
even when foul, i can still be pragmatic.
more tomorrow.

Not a bribed hug, darling, a hug with incentive.
Sorry you’ve had a rough day.
And bad moods never help in situations where you have to balance what you think, with what you are hearing, with what you hope, and come to an arrangement that works for everyone. Me, I like to crawl in bed on days like that. I think biscuits and hugs sound much more therapeutic.
I’m sure you’ll sort it all out. But we are here for you. 🙂
Tell Seb that Boulder asked for a hug for his mum, k?
I’d hug you and you wouldn’t have to bribe me.
Sending hugs your way Tess. I’m sorry the appointment had so much stressful news – it can’t be easy.
Oh Tess, you and the babies really needed all that now… Bah. Still, whatever works to make them strong. Is hydrotherapy going to be involved or are they too little and too immune-depressed for it? I an article – scientific one – on how it works wonders for little ones. The good thing is, babies are so resilient and responsive, maybe jasper and Sel will not have to do it for long? Here’s hoping. Love to all of you.
Oh Tess. I am wishing you courage.
Tess darling,
I’m sorry that this appointment was so stressful. Wish that I could say something or help in some way. Always here to listen and support you.

Darling – thank you for updating us with the news – albeit not the news you wanted to be sharing. I say ‘thank you’ as we can now better pray and hold you all up to our loving Father. You, Charles and the four children are a joy.

Tess, sigh, sorry you are having a rough day. Hope you get a good night’s sleep and can formulate a game plan. I always work better with a plan!
Can you close your blog to only people that have the IP address? I set mine up so that only people that know the address can view it. I’m hoping to avoid random trolls, but we’ll see.
I’m here if you need to vent. Big sighs for a rough day, and big prayers for you and the clan.
