potty training x 3 attempt #1 ended at 11.34am today.
will try again in three months.
it just wasn’t worth the frustration. i would rather spend five days training and older child who is ready than five weeks training one that isn’t.
there we go.

I still remember my husband’s sister’s frustration when she tried to train her daughter. We went to the beach on vacation and rented a lovely house with white, white carpet (you see where this is going). Lauren was right in the thick of potty training. And it wasn’t going so great. At one point she ran into the living room, squatted down, and had a wee right on the white carpet, and then giggled wildly. my husband and i thought it was hysterical (we tried to hide our laughter) but her mother was NOT PLEASED. I still remember how frustrated her parents were, though, and so i can sympathize with you!
Three at once, I am still impressed that you can deal with all those personalities at the same time.

I am proud of you for trying, but even more proud of you for being able to admit you can wait….I am planningto wait as long as possible with my trio!
Tess,
I had a work colleague who had six children. With the last one she forgot to toilet train him until he was well over three years. She said that he was by far the easiest and she never had an accident with him from the moment that she took his naps off. Waiting seems like an excellent decision!
