sebastian lost his first tooth today.
a few months ago at a dental check up they said that his jaw needed to expand before any teeth would come out.
over the summer, charles and i noticed his teeth "spacing out".
and a couple of weeks ago, the tooth was definitely loose.
after not wearing his mouthguard during a crucial play on saturday, the tooth was much looser.
and tonight, during dinner, it popped out and landed on the dinner table.
he already thinks he has a second loose tooth.

Yes, what is the going rate for the Tooth Fairy in Hong Kong?
At our house it’s a loonie per tooth lost (even if somebody lost it completely and it’s not under the pillow.) We think there are different tooth fairies in different provinces and countries – it’s a big job! The one in Mexico left a note in Spanish, and paid in pesos. That was cool.
This is SO not fair! I mean, I am happy for you guys and Seb, just wish it was my kids. My kids’ teeth, IF they get loose on their own, dangle there for MONTHS before finally coming out. I am talking almost a year sometimes! Usually, they need to be pulled by a dentist.
