Carys got a tooth! I am missing the triumverate more than I thought I could. Sebastian is throwing himself into the water and kicking and paddling. Its tough. My sister in law is using this vacation to spend time with her children and family and I am this languishing meatball of a morsel who is glad she made the effort for magnificent and his family, but ….
It is amazing how much time I have. Finished four books already, and reread the very excellent THE NUMBER ONE LADIES DETECTIVE AGENCY.
Here’s one of my earliest thoughts about antigua: there is a strong chinese influence. Lots of chinese takeaways and traditional medicine shops and herbalists. interesting.

Happy Birthday, darling! (To answer Lioness’ question – yes, today is Tess’ birthday – March 17th). Called you this morning but you were already out tanning/reading/watching Seb leap off the side of the pool/drowsing. And can only imagine the joy you will all experience upon returning to Hong Kong and see the triumverate again.

I do understand about missing your trio. It’s hard when your heart is in 2 places at once. Sounds like they are in good hands though, so enjoy yourself and make some good memories to get you through the sometimes-tough days with your little ones.
