for the next three years, i will have all four children at one school.
or at least that's the plan. who knows what could happen.
yes right now all my kids are kennedy kids. sebastian in primary three and the triplets scattered throughout the various primary one classes. hooray!!
the first week brought several classic lines.
tess: jasper, were you a good boy today?
jasper (indignantly): of course! i was very good mummy, except when i was being a little bit naughty!
carys: mummy, i think i feel smarter when my hair is in a bunch.
sela: the teacher will write children's names on the board with a sad face when they are naughty. i will never get my name on the board. i will always be such a good girl mummy. there will not be sela's name on the board and if there is, it will be the teacher's mistake.
sebastian: my teacher just keeps getting better and better. and she's pretty.
by friday, the much loved friday night picnic, the triplets had circles under their eyes and had to be brought home early. even going to bed at the unfair, unreasonable and very likely, unGodly hour of 8.30pm still resulted in massive dark swollen circles under sela's eyes the next day.
they love school.
everyone seems to think that I have a great deal of time. this is very far from the truth, but it is something i aspire to. i am in the pta office a lot, and trying to get this home better organised.
we will post pictures soon of my little kennedy kids.

Dear Mother-of-four-who-are-all-in-school:
LOVED the quotes!
Much love, M xox
Oh Tess, I can just try, just start trying to imagine the 4 of them getting home from their first day at the SAME school all trying to let you know what went on in their class at the same time! Love it!
Hugs and kisses to you, but today, specially to your 4 gorgeous little ones,
Odila
Love the quotes too, esp Sela! I never have a single year of all 3 of mine in one school. Next year I have 3 different schools, yuk!
Loved the quotes, I was not surprised by what any one of them said,,specially Sela.
Love to you all xoxo
Hello my dear,
this is Joel typin’ from Odila’s computer… I just took a break form the millionth work email i was writing this afternoon and came to the kitchen for a glass of water. Th thought to myself: I need a break, so sat here at Odila’s Mac o see what was up and found your blog open and started to read.
when i got to this post I could just picture the kids faces say their lines to you and your face trying not to laugh about Jasper’s comments… had to write and tell you this… you have ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE kids, all of them in their own special way!
Hugs and Kisses to all of you… well, just hugs for Charles :-))
